Was amused -wickedly-to hear of the woman who stabbed her partner for listening to an elvis presley song over and over...and over again. From the snippet played on the news it appears that it was "burning love".Obviously the woman just wasn't feelin' it!Here's the thing-i can UNDERSTAND it!The situation here is worse as it's the postman pat theme over and over...and over again for good measure.I don't have the desire to stab my son-which can only be a good thing, but would like to take a good crack at postman pat. There's not been such repetition here since 2004 with "four to the floor" by starsailor-which my son played over and over-sometimes an hour and a half at a time.Even that again would be a step up from postman pat torture-and might prevent pp from being stabbed .
Mood - have urge to drive around & deliver parcels
Music - postman pat...& his black & white cat
I know how you feel. The Donkey Kong theme music drives me up the bloody wall. My brother was addicted to video games. The worst thing was when DK Country 2, and 3 came out... and then they released it on Gameboy... Super Mario music is just as bad. And Zelda. The list goes on, my friend.
Oh, I have a song for you to sing: Postman Pat, Postman Pat, Postman Pat ran over his cat Blood and guts went flying Postman Pat was crying We won't have to see his sh*t again
Our upstairs neighbours went through a phase of playing Michael Buble at full volume every Friday and Saturday night for months. Now I don't mind a bit of Michael Buble once in a while but he was never meant to be played at that volume! One night they started playing it at 1am at that level!!! It was quite disturbing to be awoken by "Save the last dance for me" blaring in my ears! It even woke Trent and he sleeps like a log! He went upstairs and asked them to turn it down. We haven't heard it since!!
Oh and P.S. I understand how you feel about Postman Pat. When we went to stay with my Dad and my little half-brothers I found myself singing the theme to "Busy Busses" for weeks afterwards. Last year it was The Wiggles instead. I still find myself singing "Big Red Car" from time to time
Over summer, my next door neighbours often hold parties or, at least, 'loud' evenings outside. One Christmas they played "Feed The World" that often, that I was amazed THEY really wanted to hear it that many times! Regardless of the music, though, there has been the odd night I had to wear ear-plugs to get to sleep. (And it may be their talking or singing along, not just the music!) They will go on like that till the wee hours. One rather warm night recently, I had to sleep with all the windows closed, just to make it quiet enough...and that was a non-earplug-necessary night!
