In an interview about a thousand years ago (being me, I didn't record where it was from, so you'll have to take my word for it) Bill makes reference to Grae's smoking: "He's supposed to be a Doctor, but he can't even stop smoking..."

This from a bloke who used to not only smoke, but smoke cigars. 

Carrying on from my last posting, here are the reasons I think G has given up smoking in the last few years - no real evidence, you note, but here they are anyway!

1) His voice is even smoother than it used to be! Especially in his lovely ISIHAC singing, as mentioned in the 'Graeme is cute' strand recently!
2) He has a young granddaughter, and that could have been a catalyst for giving up;
3) After having Bells Palsy in 2002, I think he might be taking care of his health now;
4) I think long flights to Australia with the risk of DVT would not be so good if you smoked;
5) The cigarette packets have 'Cigarettes Kill' etc in big letters nowadays.

That's all I can think of for now! I wonder if I am on the right track, or just completely wrong, and he still smokes 20 a day or whatever!

I have been away a couple of days, so just catching up on reading this thread - just seen all the postings about do Tim and Graeme smoke. I really hope G doesn't now, for the simple reason that we love him so much that he mustn't put his health at risk! I would feel that he has probably given up now - Lisa, do you know?

Oh Jess thanks for the pics of Tim and Bill as Bunnies - lovely - also Tim's beans boy is very cute !!  I to have read The pythons Autobiography by the phytons and found it to be a very interesting read - You should get a hold of 'A Liars Autobiography' by Graham Chapman it is also worth a look at.  I found it difficult to follow at times because of the style of writing he used but the stories were very interesting especially the brothel tale with Tim - hehehe

One of my favourite ISIRTA lines, from (i think) the first ep of season 3, where the team have alledgedly just come back from meditating in India.
