For all those of you thinking about renovating, in particular, having nice polished timber floors, a word of advice. Don't ask me to help
I spent all day Tuesday (from around 8am to midnight) pushing a sanding machine around the floors of a friend's new house. I feel like I've been run through the mill, not to mention being dragged backwards through a hedge, which is being simultaneously dragged backwards through a combine harvester.
If anyone elver tells you it's easy, don't believe a word of it. The good news is, I think I lost about 10 kilos
