It is time that michael palin's name graced the page of this so-called journal.I love him best as eric olthwaite, the "boring little tit",who loved shovels and whose parents feigned death so as to avoid talking to him.I wish they'd put Ripping yarns back on the telly as well.Actually,no,he's brilliant as arthur pewty as well, hard to decide which is best.MP would look better than TBT in apron, that goes without saying.
Mood - a bit sick in the head
Music - that letter song from radio goodies(in brain)
Yes he has done a very good body of work. I for example use the expression "Wevenge" from a "Fish called Wanda" whenever I am feeling slighted and vengeful and using that saying is a good relief valve to dissapate anger. D-Day
I love Ripping Yarns, too: The Curse of The Claw, Escape From Stalag Luft 112b, etc...I've got several on tape and like to show them to friends, on the odd occasion.
What about a combination?:"Wevenge!!!!!!it's the curse of THE CLAW!!!!!!!!!".i love his travel stuff too.Prized possession-a few years ago in moment of utter daftness wrote and asked him for a button-i mean a real button, not a badge.Well didn't get a button-but a signed photo which had on it-"To so-and-so,i'm really sorry i'm using all of my buttons".Well isn't he a brilliant man then?I guess he knows by now just how daft his fans really are! And maybe a little demented too.
