I know, I know boring but it has to be done and when better than in MY holiday! I have finished the kitchen today and althought I hate doing it. I am pleased with myself for actually getting on and finishing it. I have cleaned out every cupboard then crawled round the kick boards and cleaned those. I have done the oven (ugh) but to those in the UK Fairy Power Spray actually works rather well!! Then came the tins I have a shelf running around 3/4 of the kitchen which is crammed with advertising tins of all shapes and sizes there are over 100 of them they look very nice and decorative. Until that is they need taking down and cleaning. I have to climb up and down the ladder to reach and it takes forever to get then down wash them dry them they put it all back. I should do this more often but once a year is enough. It is all done now and can start to look forward to our summer holiday to Cornwall in a few weeks. I can start on the organizing/washing/ironing and packing! D
