That title bears no relation to what will be written here but I haven't mentioned him in such a long time in this journal and his name just had to be said .
Really what the title should be is something about etiquette - first thing is - is that how you spell etiquette? Is it considered poor form and bad etiquette to spell the word etiquette incorrectly? Such vital points are raised here BUT nowhere near as important as this which is the actual point of this entry - is there such a thing as blog etiquette? I am a blog reader, a reader of blogs. I like people. I like reading about what makes them tick. Thought for the day is this - does this make a person some kind of blog whore - sort of like the equivalent of the town bike ,but with blogs? The blog bike, perhaps? (instead of ride, read )
I'm going to shortly copy this into my own blog but thought it should go here in the goodies journal where bondy and "ethel" might read it - please tell me i'm not alone in being a blog bike. The only way I'll accept being one is if I get to have yellow streamers that come out the side of the handle bars, a red light on the front and a tray on the back to carry my toys around in .
Haha - very interesting take on the art of sticky beaking Dafty .If checking out other people's blogs makes us blog whore than we had best start up some sort of whore house - "The Best Little Blog House on the Net" - We could cruise the blogs on our blog bikes (I want a plastic woven basket with a flower on the front please ) If we didn't "peak" into others windows then we would never know about the creation of Ethel, Zaphod new job, Janice's trip to NZ, nezangel's Naughty Little Minx scandel, Mazzanda's clever clogs awards and so on .....oops once again my mouth has gotten away from me ps nice touch with the Mikey Palin draw card...He is your TBT
I think the writers of the blogs would be only too grateful to have someone reading them - if you didn't want someone nosing about in it, you wouldn't write it in the first place, I guess. I read someplace that the average blog ends up with seven regular readers. Now, assuming some of those big yee-har newsy politica ones end up with hundreds, there must be some with one or two. Or none!
It's good to get these opinions! As usual you crack me up, bondy - the best little blog house on the net. I guess I was feeling cheap from checking out a lot of blogs which is why i wrote this -haha. Well you know the old saying about a "loose" woman being the town bike - everyone's had a ride. Well even though it's the wrong way around - it's me reading everyone else -but you know what i mean. That's right ,Jodie -of course people have written it hoping for it to be read by someone - 7, eh?. Hey! -if there are 7 here make yourselves known -how about it?
