Got to go to the Brum show as my wife still hasn't delivered the third Bradda jnr yet, got to meet the mighty Edna  and other fans and after the show got to meet Tim and Graeme after the show after a shortish wait, felt like a six year old when I met them, you know all "will you please sign this for me sir" (then nervously giggles and wets self), but they were gentleman and signed everything thown at them and posed for photos till everyone hanging around (loads of people) had there turn. One of the best nights of my life, hope they tour again.

Happy belated Xmas and new year to all, I did mean to do this pre Xmas,but Bradda jnr was ill over Xmas and in and out of hospital, all better now,but sill enough to poleaxe the seasonal cheer.

Went to the chemists today to buy some razor blades, but they ran out so i brought some wax strips instead, not verry useful for slashing your wrists with though. boom boom

My old steam powered computer has finally popped it's little silicon cloggs and shuffled off this mortal coil so I'm back to using the computer in the local library, ho-hum. Thus to anyone I'd usually send the seasons greetings to Happy Xmas. Now to start saving my pennies for a new computer.

Still awaiting further Goodies releases so in the meantime am filling my TV watching time with surrogate progs. In Bed with Medinner and Barry Welsh always hit the spot and Spaced cracks me up. I'll just have to keep waiting I suppose.

I haven't visited the site as much as I usually do recently as my computer has gone to silicon heaven, and at present insufficient funds are around to get a new one. I'm typing this now in Great Bridge public library on my lunch break so I better hurry as I must get back to work soon, everything else in my life is ok at the moment, just a bit of a bugger about the computer.

My wonderful internet service provider is currently having problems with e-mail so at the moment I can't send or recieve any and If I phone the helpline number a recorded message tells me to e-mail them with my problem, WHICH I WOULD DO IF MY FRICKING E-MAIL WOULD WORK!

Had a half decent week off work, pity I have to go back on monday, quite enjoyed having some time to myself for once. Got to spend some quality time with my kids as well. 
My two year old is becoming a right Goodies fan. Ever since she saw them performing A man's best friend is his duck on the new dvd she keeps shouting for me to play it again. Chip off the old block if you ask me.

Just had to see the dvd after waiting so long so went out and brought a cheap player. Worth every penny.

When you've waited nearly a year for the new Goodies dvd you learn to be patient.
I've bided my time and today at 9am I purchased my goal.
Then I went home to watch at leisure.
It was at this point my dvd player decided to say "no thanks, I don't like this disk " and promptly go phut!
I attempted artificial resperation, but that didn't work so I tried kicking it instead, but all to no avail.
AAAARRRGGGHH!!!

I'll have to work out how to use computers properly one day instead of busking it. I just muddle along not having a piggin clue what I'm doing. I'd love to get myself an avatar but I don't want to nick anyone else's and I havent a clue how to put one on myself. I did try but after a couple of hours shouting at the computer I thought it better to leave well enough alone.

What a piggin day! I couldn't go to see the Goodies in London due to work and we were so bloody busy today I could have screamed! Oh well worse things happen at sea I suppose. Actually I have allways hated that saying, Yeah you could drown, but you cant get run over by a double decker bus can you?
Oh yeah West Bromwich Albion lost again which just topped a great day off for me! :'(

I've just been to the toilet

Awareness of astronauts |

Does anyone out there remember Astonauts? It was a sitcom written by Bill and Graeme in the early 80's. If you ever get chance to watch them do so because they are under-rated gems.
They may not be the best show ever written,but the little info I've found written about them rips into it like nobody's business. I only ask because no one I know has ever even heard of it, much less seen it, I only managed to Tape it because I noticed an obscure cable channel showing them about ten years ago. I've just started watching them for the first time in ages and I really bloody enjoyed it. That's lifted my spirits after a couple of depressing weeks at work.

I had to go there today for work reasons and I wish I hadn't bothered.
