thanks Lisa
I imagine you've probably been to some Goodies themed parties and video nights? I'd love to do something like that . Is there anyone else in the club who is also in Canberra? 'Go on...you know it makes sense!' |

I suppose it all depends on whether the event is outdoors or inside like in a hall...and what you have room for. Perhaps some games along the line of Goodies themed charades or pictionary. A good old Goodies themed sing-along around the campfire. Some props like a ball of string/string shopping bag, tins of Heinz baked beans, a toy tortoise on a leash, platter of scones/strawberry jam/cream, bottles of drink relabelled 'Turps for Burps', Toy crown and fake jewels, sherbet fountains, scout hat or scarf/badges, toy rabbit and carrot..........
The list is endless 'Go on...you know it makes sense!' |

Set up a Disco Bilius dance area and teach everyone the Disco Heave (music available in the Downloads section).
Other ideas:
* Think about the decor the Goodies had in their office: A gold telephone, a David Cassidy poster, a dartboard, 'Funky Gibbon' messages written in chalk, a framed picture of the Queen etc. You could also tape some cardboard together, paint it and draw on it so that it resembles Graeme's computer.
* Find a stuffed white cat (a cheap figurine found at most $2 shops would suffice) to represent Twinkle
* Put on a Max Bygraves record (or just display the cover if nobody can stand listening to it)
* Put up a Union Jack flag which everyone must stand and face whenever 'Land Of Hope And Glory' is played (even better if someone went into a mad patriotic speech)
* Other party games: Think of the attractions featured in 'Camelot'.
* Food: Carrots ('Invasion of the Moon Creatures' reference), soggy lettuce and potato peelings, black pudding, fish and chips, pumpkin (preferably one that could fit over someone's head). Make sure everything in the dining area is ROUND!
* Put fake dog poo in the grass and see if anyone else gets the reference joke I myself brought him in last week - drunk and disorderly. But when I sobered up, he'd gone. Sorry. (P.C. BENT) |

I can vouch for how realistic they look. When I first met Brett, I saw for myself what a fantastic job he did making them. please marry me Grayboots!! |

Yes, I remember that there were many counterfeit black puddings being used at KK in 2000.
Never settle with words when a flamethrower! is much more fun

Brett had an excellent idea for making black puddings (for a friendly bout of Ecky Thump); I think he used a piece of black tubing used for bike tires tied around the ends.
I'll have to ask him if I've remembered this correctly. |

A Union Jack waistcoat? (I'm surprised that one wasn't already mentioned.) Lancastrian treats (like Parkin and tripe lol)
I'll edit this when i think of more ones! Get it Right! |

How about a game of SPAT! Bill: "I used to have a pet rabbit once.......and at no stage did he ever strap me to the couch and stick carrots in my ears!" |
