What better way to spend my birthday than to make my 300th post on GROK!
I just got back from Edinburgh this evening, so I\'m a little sleepy to say the least. I won\'t go into the full details just yet, so here\'s some choice highlights for now. I saw the show on Friday and Sunday and then attended the book signing on Saturday. It was great.
On Friday, after a three hour bus journey from hell, me and my friend arrived at the show just 5 minutes before the start. The queue had already gone in, but when we got into the theatre there were two seats on the front row. Talk about luck. It was great to see it again, I\'d forgotten loads (then again, I do have a memory like a sieve). One bit I\'d forgotten was the censored line, \"Upside down with a goat!\" which made me go, \"Oh God!\" really loud, so much that Tim and Graeme looked at me and giggled. At the end of the show when Graeme is describing \'The Movies\' and mentions Tim making an epic film, Tim did an athletic sort of pose (don\'t know how else to describe it), which caused me to burst out laughing, and I was the only one to find it so amusing. Tim and Graeme looked at me and Graeme said, \"Yes, that\'s right!\" which only made things worse.
Afterwards, myself, my friend and Nez waited for the boys, who were as lovely as ever. Graeme still remembered my name, which made me very chuffed, and we all got our Tim and Graeme hugs.
The book signing on Saturday was also fun, if brief. I was very cheeky and asked Tim if he could put \'happy birthday\' in mine, which he did. As I told him I got to look into his eyes, they\'re a lovely deep turqoise blue, I never noticed how nice they were before. *Sigh* Tim then passed the book on to Graeme who read the message and, whilst beaming at me, said \"Happy birthday Jess!\" I can now say that Graema was the first person this year to wish me a happy birthday, how nice is that?!
Sunday was amazing. For starters, I was sitting three seats away from Harry Shearer, so every time I heard him laugh I thought, \"Wow, Mr Burns is laughing!\" (I\'m sad like that). There was lots of eye contact during the show, which was fun. Tim even mouthed \"hi!\" to me when they first came on stage. They both laughed at my cackling at a rude line (no spoilers) and then sinking into my seat and mouthing \"sorry\" to them!
In the queue we befriended an Aussie lass who was very nice, and herself, her beau and another Aussie chap stayed with me and my friend for meeting Tim and Graeme after. I assured them that the boys are more than happy to do autographs, photos, and, best of all, hugs. When the Aussie lass got her Tim hug he said, \"How did you know to ask?\" and looked at me, to which I replied, \"Sorry, it\'s all my fault\" which made Tim laugh. Both Tim and Graeme were in fine form, Tim was chatting to the Aussie lass about something, I forget what, but he then said, \"Jess knows all about it!\" so that made me most chuffed. I then took a pic for the Aussie lass and her beau, and Tim said, \"nice one Jess!\" Heehee, I giggled whenever he said my name. Sad really. Then I got a pic with Tim and Graeme:

My camera\'s new and my friend didn\'t know how to use it... Tim: I think we need help! Me: Oh, just open it there and then press the big button thingie on the top Tim [giggles]: All the technical terms! Me: Oh, I know them all!
I got my Tim hug (more of that later) and was about to go to Graeme for a hug, but they were picking up all their bags to leave. Just as they started saying their goodbyes I approached Graeme timidly and said, \"Graeme, sorry, can I have a birthday hug, please?\" Graeme giggled and stretched out his arms. While we hugged he was still giggling and asked, \"Is it today?\" I said, \"It\'s on Wednesday\", so Graeme gave me a huge kiss on the cheek! So huge, I felt whiskers! How I didn\'t faint, I don\'t know, but it was great.
Now, the best bit. My friend handed my camera to the Aussie lass, who took the most candid and amazing pic ever! I had no idea of it at the time, so I was stoked when I saw it later.
I should explain really. I asked Tim for a hug, then when I did I went \"heehee, birthday hug!\" which was very silly and quite embarrassing, made worse by the fact that Tim didn\'t hear me and asked what I said. At least he giggled though. The hug itself was wonderful. I was ready to end it but Tim pulled me in closer and squeezed me really tight. Slight back rubbing was involved too. It was brilliant.
Meanwhile, my friend asked Graeme for a hug, so he put his arm around her, but the Aussie chap started talking to Graeme, so Graeme had a chat with him, whilst keeping his arm around my friend!! She was on cloud nine. Graeme then said, \"Ah yes, now the hug\" once the chat was over, and my friend then got her Graeme hug as well. Lucky devil!
And now, the photographic evidence:

I love this pic, the best birthday present ever. Tim and Graeme\'s faces are absolutely pricelss.
Hope I didn\'t ramble too much and I made at least some sense. I am very sleepy.
Nez, your journal and pics are superb, thanks for sharing.
All the best everyone, Jess. --------------
