I have trouble deciding whether some of the mistakes in ISIRTA are mistakes or not. Like in the episode of The Curse of the Flying Wombat when Tim is having a conversation between Tim Brown-Windsor and Lady Constance and reads one of the lines in the wrong voice. I think it's just the fact that he says "I'm sorry, I'll read that again" after he says it. I love the mistakes in ISIRTA. I want to know if the "Anyone should be singing it but John Cleese" was scripted...

There's a few beautiful stuff-ups in ISIRTA, including one I have somewhere but can't find right now, where Tim and Bill are doing a sketch and get so tangled up they end up in fits of giggles, go back a few lines and start again.
This isn't corpsing, but something similar - how about those incredible amazed reactions to the dogs running past in Kitten Kong? |

I'm going to have the Shiny Shoes song in my head for days now!
I'm struggling to think of any Goodies moments where Tim corpses, which I find a little too hard to believe, because he's corpsed several times in both ISIRTA and the 1948 Show. There must be something, somewhere...
I do, however, recall a moment when Tim made Graeme and Bill corpse. In the 'Camelot' episode, Graeme plays a short song on the lute and you hear Bill cracking up off camera. It then cuts to Tim and Bill, and Tim, dressed as a jester, has a hilarious blank look on his face while his jester hat twizzles around. As that porbably made no sense, here it is in gif form!

Lovely
I'll be keeping out a beady eye from now on for Timbo corpsing moments. I'm ever so intrigued! Jess. --------------

' Watched Punky Business for the first time in MONTHS last night. Well I just wanted to see Shiny Shoes. But anyway. I'd forgotten all about how completely adorable Tim is in the scene with Jane Asher: "I am overwhelmed by your intellect, will you marry me?! For you, Caroline, I am willing to become a punk rocker! Punk, punk, punkety-punk!! Consider me punked!!"

As my name is Caroline I am rather fond of that little scene & I don't feel maternal about lovely Timbo at all! Tim: "I sometimes wake up screaming: The Minx, The Minx!" |

I had a Goodies moment at work last week when I was waitressing at NSW Parliament House. There was a Defence Force Reserves awards shindig and EVERYONE was wearing shiney shoes. I spent the whole evening humming the song to myself.

I think Bill's the Grand Master of that isn't he?!?!?
I think Tim does a pretty good job of not corpsing, although sometimes he does take an opportunity to laugh at an appropriate interval a bit too readily (e.g Superstar when Isobel says "When Tony Blackburn sees it he's gonna drop dead with embarrassment!" and Grae says "Well at least some good will come of it then!" and Tim bursts out laughing - and it blatantly wasn't even that funny!). Bless him.

I just squealed AWW!! typing the damn thing!!!
Will I ever get over being so maternal about Tim?! ____________________________________ GRAEME: Will you be coming back tomorrow? SPEV: We might think about it...! GRAEME: See you tomorrow then!

' I've been thinking lately, has Tim corpsed in the Goodies? Of course, there's plenty of times in the 1948 Show, but in the Goodies I can only recall one moment. It's at the beginning of Frankenfido when Tim and Bill get their new dog and Tim asks where its nose is. Otherwise, I'm stumped. Anyone noticed any other moments?
Jess. |
Explain what you mean by corsping Jess - I thought it meant over acting or over exaggerating movements - something along those lines. Bill : I know when I'm licked cos it feels lovely ! |
