I'd actually forgotten about the Humphrey Barclay factor. Since he produced Cambridge Circus, ISIRTA and DNAYS it may have been his suggestion. However, I think it was probably Eric Idle's doing that in one of the DNAYS sketches a certain Mr G Garden writes in suggesting that covering oneself in bread pudding will prevent sunburn.

Well it was *muffle* 30something year ago    I ahve trouble remember what I did in the morning    but I am blonde  Hehe True. I'd like to know how it came about (ie who contacted Tim) and since Tim didn't even remember doing it, I don't think we can trust his recollection of it. On the DVD Tim said they were filmed on different floors so it is conceivable that with both shows being produced for the same family that they would get 'talent' from other areas to safe time and money    I personally think that they ask Tim bescause he is so sexy and so talented.  Which of course is the only thing that make sense.

Of course we love Tim for his mind and talent! It's hardly our fault if his mind and talent happen to be so well packaged.

I picked up the 1948 DVD in our local Music Zone shop for just under £5 last week!
