I've often wondered this too. I mean, let's face it we are ALL gob!!! I know for a fact if Dr G held me in his arms, gazed into my eyes and said "Spevvykins, Spevvykins Spevvykins, speak to me in Scouse, you naughty little secretary!!" I would go bright red, squeak something incoherent and back off very quickly. Not in terror, just in sheer embarrassment.
But then you do have to take into consideration the effect of alcohol on the proceedings. Let's face it if ANYONE came up to you that you really really fancied when you were stone cold sober and was all *rowwwrrrr* with you, you'd freak out a little bit!!! A fwe large brandies inside you though, I reckon with a little gentle persuasion I'd prolly be up for just about anything!!!
But if we're allowed to utilise time-machines in this discussion, please can I go back to the Snooze episode and distract him from his Getting Out of Bed Regime so Tim can get ready before him?! I felt quite sorry for him in that sceene. I must admit even I felt slightly less maternal than usual over Tim when he was sprawled on the floor in his little Goodies' T-shirt, blue underpants and black socks!!
In fact for a split second I think I possibly even get into the realms of Not Even A Little Maternal. But it must be a very split second because I don't know if it happens really or not!!!!!
Sorry, went a little off-topic there. As usual. But I think this is a very valid deep and philosophical point here. What WOULD we do with a Goody on a plate???
And ARE we allowed to bring chocolate sauce iwth us?!!?!?!??!

Blimey, sounds like the Bill thread (which appears to have died) where we got all intellectual and started discussing role-models and things.
What would I do with a Goody in a plate? That depends on whether there was time-travel involved....
