' I'm going to have to retire from this board or something - why must you all keep posting such pictures?  Why do I find Grae so attractive dressed as a sixteen year old school girl??  Thanks to this board, I'm discovering things about myself that I really really don't like...
And no, nezangel, it's not wrong to fancy a cartoon character because of its very sexy voice.  Honest.  At least it's not just me.
I can't get over those pictures.  And I really didn't think I was into men in drag.  I think I'm going through an awakening of some sort here...

I'm glad it's not just me who craves a cartoon Geography teacher!
All of what you said in your post could have been said by me!  It's weird finding these things out about yourself!

Heehee, apologies everyone! If I posted a pic of Graeme as Olivia Newton-John, will that balance out things a bit?

I was tempted to buy the folder, it was only £1.99, but I was too afraid of being severely judged by the people I was with. Mind you, yesterday I was the in the market with my brother and found a very fetching brown cord flatcap a la Graeme, but my brother was tutting quite a bit so I had to put it down and walk away. Perhaps I'll go back for it one day!  it'd be fun to take to Edinburgh, along with a Union Jack waistcoat. Hmm...

Jess.

Don't worry, you're not alone. He does look rather good in that schoolgirl outfit, I must say. I really must see this episode, damn it being in the only series I haven't got >_<.

Oh, btw JessPix, about the Bromwell High stationary, I actually bought a notebook for my media work with that picture of Mr Bibby on it saying that exact line. It was in a 3 for 2 offer at Virgin Megastores (why does that feel like a promotion for the store?) in town so I went and bought it along with Sex Pistols and HIM versions for my other 2 subjects.

Mr Bibby's great. In Virgin Megastore I once saw Bromwell High stationary and there was a folder with Mr Bibby on the front with the quote, "I'm not a real man, I'm a geography teacher" - or something along those lines, I forget. Look out for it, it's great!

Not sure if I should be doing this, but here's some more pics of Amazing Gracie.

The one I originally posted on Tim's thread, where he's claiming to be 17:

The funniest one, forgetting that he's supposed to be a girl:

Enjoy!

His character is really cool... Don't know if I'd go as far as fancying him... He does have a very smooooooooooooooth voice though.

Going back to Bromwell High - is it wrong that I fancy a cartoon character because of his incredibly sexy voice?
Its bad enough (as mentioned on the Tim thread) that I fancy him dressed as a schoolgirl!  I really think I need therapy.....well, Graeme is a doctor, maybe he can cure me!

Anyhoo, getting back to Graeme via the Marx Bros... The fuzzychopped one has quite a knack for impersonation, no?  (Who IS Eddie Wearing, anyway?)

He is great isn't he? I got the impression that Eddie was a football commentator back in the day...

Eddie Waring was a rugby commentator. There's some stuff about him here http://www.bbc.co.uk/insideout/yorkslincs/series7/eddie_waring.shtml

Rugby - that's what I meant That bit at the end of Beanstalk suggested either union or league.

' Until I watched 'The Big Store' I really didn't know that the special effects were so good in those days.

Yes!  Specially since they were all done physically, with mirrors and things, and a bit of really early split-screen stuff.  No digital stuff, no computers or naff 80s video effects - not even CSO.  That Big Store sequence is boggling, technically.  Good music, too.  Have you seen Duck Soup?  I'm still trying to work out how they did the thing with the live dog coming out of the tattoo of a doghouse...

I have Duck Soup, Animal Crackers and Horse Feathers on dvd.
