once the photo is on /scanned into your computer. Hope this helps

Okay, I'm sure that'll work, but how do I upload the picture onto a website? Forgive me please - I'm absolutely pathetic, it's a wonder I've managed to figure out how to connect to the internet at all...

Shit sorry about the size people.  That is a picture of my cat who is called Inkdot (Dopey). She is a british shorthair and she is very vocal and she likes it when I meow back at her. |

OK, I'll have a try at trying to explain it... You first load the photos up on some site (eg. imageshack) and then you copy, and paste the words/hotlink or whatever inbetween the image button.
example :  [/URL][/img]
(except you don't have any spaces in it) and it turns out like this... :
