I'm not sure this one's allowable (and I'm running this game!) but it seems to have gone quite 'round here, so...
Billy West's gig on Futurama put him in touch with Matt Groening.
Groening also did that cartoon with the weird yellow people, oh, that's right, The Simpsons. Harry Shearer has done voice work on this show...
... and, wearing his Spinal Tap hat, he's performed at the Secret Policeman's Ball, as has Tim.
*But* I don't know if I can count the ball as one link. Might just give Zaphod a bonus for outfoxing everyone and be done with it.
Anyway...
have we done Ian McKellen? |

Just to make it easier, it's the Billy West from Futurama (voice of Philip J Fry) and listed as Billy west (II) on imdb.

As no one's done this one, I thought I'd have a go. I have no idea who Billy West is, but on checking imdb there's four possiblities! And idea which one?? -- I'm back, and it's about time! |

Ethel Merman was in "It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World" with Terry-Thomas Who was in "12 + 1" with Timbo
I'm running out of challenging persons to link back to ol' Baby Face.
Ummm, how about: Billy West

Tracey Ulman was in Kick Up the eighties. Rik Mayall was too. He did one of the voices for Shoebox Zoo. Graeme wrote a few of those. I believe Graeme knew Tim at university.
Ethel Merman. |

Ok, Christopher Timothy was (or should that be is?) in Doctors with Diane Keen, who was in You Must Be The Husband with our Tim.
Next up we have ... Tracey Ullman -- I'm back, and it's about time! |

A bit of an odd connection this one but...
Norman Wisdom had a top twenty hit in Albania with Tony Hawks who has been in ISIHAC with Tim.
Ok, how about Christopher Timothy |

Nathan Lane was in The Birdcage with Robin Williams. Robin Williams was in The Fisher King directed by Terry Gilliam. Terry Gilliam did the animations for Do Not Adjust Your Set, in which Tim made a cameo appearance.
Hope that one counts!
Next: Norman Wisdom --------------
Tim: How long have we been married?
Tim: Be on guard |

I had to use wikipedia to find out who Astrid Plane was and the article said as part of Animotion he performed alongside Phil Collins who was in the Secret Policeman's Other Ball with Tim.
Lets try Nathan Lane next. |

Hmmm, ok, this one will be a bit harder
try: Astrid Plane
It can be done, but requires thinking outside the square...
