http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b03vd6n1/Essential_Classics_Tuesday_Rob_Cowan_with_Bill_Oddie/

Here's an edited listing for the series of shows: "A selection of music, including the Essential CD of the Week...To mark the 125th anniversary of the RSPB (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds), Rob's guest is the wildlife presenter, writer, musician and conservationist, Bill Oddie. Bill became famous as one of The Goodies, having previously written scripts for TV's That Was The Week That Was while a student at Cambridge. He was also a key member of the BBC radio series I'm Sorry, I'll Read That Again, where many of his musical compositions were featured. Since the 1990s, he has become better known as a presenter of BBC wildlife programmes."

* According to the ISIHAC newsletter, "Tim, Graeme, Barry and Jeremy will be on ‘The One Show’ tomorrow (7.00pm, BBC1), talking to Gabby Logan and Matt Baker about the show and possibly playing the odd ISIHAC round.".  After broadcast the show will be available to UK viewers on the BBC iPlayer at http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b03vkp57/The_One_Show_19_02_2014/

Wednesday 15 Jan 2014 9:01 am

A competition and prize fund established to seek out the world’s most incredible animal photography is back, as the Zoological Society of London (ZSL) today launches the ZSL Animal Photography Prize 2014.

Now in its third year, organisers are expecting a high calibre of entries from around the world for the wildlife photography competition, which will be judged by television presenter Kate Humble, and ornithologist Bill Oddie.

The ZSL Animal Photography Prize 2014 features six categories for adult and junior entrants, including Last Chance to See, putting the focus on endangered and threatened species and Size Matters for the little and large members of the animal kingdom.

With a £10k prize fund, the competition also puts winning photographers in with the chance of having their image displayed in a striking exhibition, which will be on display at ZSL London Zoo this autumn.

Aiming to inspire photographers of all abilities to explore the wonders of the animal kingdom, the competition closes on 1 April 2014. To enter the ZSL Animal Photography Prize 2014, visit www.zsl.org/photo-prize.
