Update to Goodies Interviews collection
more from same (The Goodies)
The Goodies I've finally got around to updating "A Collection Of Goodies Media Interviews" by adding a large number of Goodies interviews connected with Graeme & Tim's UK Goodies Tour in 2007, plus a couple from 2008 as well.  I'll add further interviews from this year at some point, but for now the updated file can be accessed from the "Last Articles" box at the bottom of this page.

ISIRTA returns to BBC 7 / Barry Cryer on Loose Ends
more from same (British Comedy)
British Comedy* Episode 5 in the current series of "I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue" airs later today on BBC Radio 4.  It will be available for a week after broadcast from Listen Again.

* BBC Radio 7 is beginning another run of Bill, Tim, & Graeme's 1960's radio series "I'm Sorry I'll Read That Again" (the series also starred John Cleese, David Hatch, and Jo Kendall).  The show will air on Wednesdays. According to the latest issue of the station's newsletter, "In future weeks [BBC Radio 7 will] be bringing you some episodes that haven't been heard since their original transmission."

* Barry Cryer from ISIHAC appeared on BBC Radio 4's show "Loose Ends" this past Saturday, Dec. 12th.  The show can be heard from the BBC iPlayer (at
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00p7h3r/Loose_Ends_12_12_2009/) until this Saturday evening (19 December at 7pm London time).

* While this isn't Goodies news, I'll throw it in as long as I'm writing. Many of you were acquainted with "Giles Wemmbley-Hogg Goes Off" thanks to Graeme's writing contributions in the early series. Fans of the series may be interested to learn that a new series of "Giles" began today on BBC Radio 4; here's the listen again link:

Slapstick Silent Comedy Festival Gala Opening Night

Something ALMOST Completely Different
with very special guest Michael Palin
Hosted by Graeme Garden

Bristol's Slapstick Silent Comedy Festival invites you to a star-studded evening of classic comedy and live entertainment for its Sixth Slapstick Gala.

This unique event presents two great comedy icons. Comedy legend and and national treasure Michael Palin will be on stage to discuss his illustrious career in comedy, with fellow writer performer Graeme Garden.

On screen - in homage to Michael's travelling legacy - we present one of Buster Keaton's greatest comedies THE NAVIGATOR (1924), with the world premiere of a live musical accompaniment by The Slapstick Boys.

This newly- formed five-piece musical ensemble features Oscar-winning film animator and cornet virtuoso Richard Williams and world-acclaimed silent film maestro Günter Buchwald on violin and piano, along with their international friends.

With other celebrity guests on stage and on screen, this is a once-in-a-lifetime event not to be missed! Early booking is recommended to avoid dissapointment.
