There's nothing like coming home after a pleasant evening out to hear some moron bashing away upstairs with a hammer and a nailgun, from at least midnight until about 6am this morning. Unfortunately I was too lazy (stuffed) to go outside and cut the power to the upstairs flat (apartment). Some people have no concern for others.
Realistically, they should at least have warned us what they were going to be doing, or even better, actually doen it during the day, rather than all <expletive deleted> night.
Personally, I'd have preferred to take the nailgun to his head, or other parts of his anatomy. At least then I would have got some sleep.
People can be so inconsiderate - That is why we live out of town on 7 1/2 acres - No nuisance neighbours - just a quick wave and G'day and everything sweet !!
That's so weird -i started reading and was thinking "oh,i would've taken a nailgun to his head" -and that's what you actually wrote down further!It might have been fun to go ask him if was in fact constructing his own coffin-well he obviously has a deathwish.(All that land,bondgirl-no wonder you get so much enjoyment out of watching your husband doing the mowing ).
Yeah dafty but the bugger went and got a rideon, took all the enjoyment out of what use to be an excellent spectator sport, DAMN!! I would have swapped last night zaphod - the bloody power went off ( four 2.5hrs and I was in the middle of making cornmeat fritters) we have no generator therefore none of the pumps works - no water - no toilet - no showers and a great big pain in the a$$ !!
