Well, it's the end of yet another week. This one has been very strange in that I haven't been to work all week. Not much point really when I had better internet access at home and what I do relies on me having reasonable internet access.
Incidentally, the tickets for the New "Still Alive on Stage" tour arrived yesterday, so I'm happy.
I decided to put an appearance in at work today to grab some stuff for the weekend, but since I'm trying to share a single 56k modem with half a dozen other people, I might just leave very early and go home. At least I won't have to wait an hour for a web page to download.

Your work Internet connection sounds a lot like my home connection... if I'm in a good mood, I take the philosophical view that it teaches me the virtuous trait of patience. After about 10mins of being "philosophical", though, I get annoyed and take the more practical view of going to uni where the connection is better (or kicking the computer). Wouldn't recommend the second.
Patience is fine when it's your own time you haver to worry about, this was a work connection, shared between several people. IT's even slower than you can imagine.
