D-Day
Entry 30 annother journaling badge is due, so now the question is will the badge arrive before or after my journal clocks up 200 visits.
Yes folks small things can be ammusing, but Ive learnt to take as many little joys from each day as I can. God knows I've worked my way through enough shitty days.
If you dont agree then its T.F.B. [Janice you wont want to know what that means], anyway dear reader what are you going to do about it. Sue me? like I give a damn.
Sorry getting worked up, deep breath calm down. Anyway I had a bit of a rant for tonight, so Ill go now, for a lie down

Rant away...let out the steam. better here, with those who don't mind! I'm visitor 199, so I'm going to leave for a while and come back and, hopefully, be 200!

Well, I just visited daftbird's journal and came back here again, and here I am, (drum-roll) viewer 200! Yay. The crowd goes wild, streamers are flung and the balloons are released! So I've gone a little over-the-top...but you enjoyed it, didn't you, D-Day?! Congratulations!

So Janice my dear dear aviatrix [female aviator to the rest of us penguins] am I to understand that your not adverse to a little fudging of the statistics for your own personal glory. Not that I am going to complain because it makes for a fun journal.
The crowd goes wild etc was either a tad over the top or you are very delusional, but then again you need to view the world a little differently if you are to express talents like your paintings. I might add here that other people will be waiting tosee what all the fuss is about or do you like to string people along Janice to build the suspense?
One other thing Janice was the Journal 3 badge there when you clocked the double centuary? I would like to know?

Daftbird, you get a journal badge after ten, then twenty, then thirty entries. I don't think there are any more after that...

Sorry D-Day, I didn't pay attention to the badges. Sorry if I fudged your numbers, but it was only by one. If I didn't do it then, I would've missed out on being No200 and I was already No100, or so it seemed at the time. The fanfare was just for fun and was probably to do with the mood I was in at the time. I'm a bit of an excitable person.

I don't know how to post my pictures, but daftbird, D-Day's avatar is one of my paintings.

Janice I loved your little fanfare bit, goodie for a giggle, and I dont mind that you fudged the figures, I was just having a little friendly dig to keep you honest [not that you are otherwise] and on your aviatrix toes.
By the bye do you like being called an aviatrix?  I like the expression although it took me years to understand it,should have asked earlier, D'oh.
Daftbird you should get in touch directly with Janice and I'm sure she would love to send you an email or to of her paintings, mostly WW11 aircraft, so be warned, but still I'm tickled pink to have copies in my computer. Real talent there.

I contacted the daft bird (!) and she has sent me her email address, which I have responded to with a picture of a horse and a WWII Hurricane. Have I sent you a Hurricane sunset/sunrise picture? I'll send it anyway; you'll love this one! You can call me aviatrix, if you so desire...I'm not a pilot, though, remember!

I would love to have the Hurricane to add to my collection, and as for aviatrix your're a hell of a lot closer to being a pilot than the rest of us penguins.
