The other day while I wqs back at my share house I went down to the local bakery for some lunch. A pie and a pastie very good to have on a cold winters day. Anyway as the young girl was bagging up my pie and pastie she said "sorry about that". I replied that she needed to say that like Maxwell Smart Secret Agent 86 of Control would and say "Sorry About That". Well all I got in response was a Bambi in the headlights look of huh?? So the more mature counter lady and I had to give her a brief explanation about Maxwell Smart, Control and Kaos. Dont tell me that Im getting that old that people dont know who Maxwell Smart is or is it because the show is no longer repeated adnauseaum on free to air TV but rather is on Cable and so not as widely viewed. A penny for you thoughts.

I've been expecting to see Get Smart come out on DVD...it can't be too far off now, surely! I ahd dinner at a Korean restaurant last night. You cook the food at the table. They lower an exhaust hood over the table. My boyfriend calls it the "cone of silence"! Ah, memories! PS. I've loved Siegfried since I was a kid!
That makes me SO happy that you 2 were banana splits fans.That goofy looking one-i should be more specific as they're all really goofy looking-but anyway one of them reminds me of mickey dolenz.(yes,the mind can be a strange thing,can it not?).I watch it on video-even at this age-and reminisce.If i had to choose between bs(exactly) and get smart...maxwell wouldn't get a look in. . (side bar: at what point do i really think that someone's gonna come along and say:hey you,choose NOW! or it's THE CLAW for you!!!!).
Sorry to disappoint you, but I only recalled the Banana Splits theme music...I don't actually remember the show. Maybe I would, if I saw an episode again, but it may not have been a show I watched.
