The 6th of August marked the 60th Anniversary of the Bombing of Hiroshima and when I get a moment I will make some comments about this important moment in History. Until then do some thinking about it and read up on this pivotal event.
Therefore, today, the 9th of August (and my birthday!) marks the 60th anniversary of tha bombing of Nagasaki. (Actually, it is 12:06am my time, so no longer the 9th, but I haven't gone to bed yet, so it's still my birthday to me!)

Happy Birthday again Janice, I guess you could say if you were really bad that your birthday date is a real blast. Yes I know that is really tasteless, but then again there is nothing nice about war. Thankfully we have never had to see atomic weapons used in anger again since those two bombings.
