Well, I've come to the conclusion that I'm getting old. I was at my weekly Martial (not Marital) arts class last night when we had a change of pace and did a little rock climbing.
Unfortunately for me, I managed to embarass myself by telling the instructor that I've done this before. Mind you it was over 15 years ago and I've gotten considerably heavier and rounder since then. I managed to survive the ordeal with only a sprained elbow and a pulled calf muscle.
At least I didn't do any permanaent damage to myself (or anyone else for that matter) and I'll try and keep my big mouth shut next time
Went to see Madagascar the other night with my Fiance and we were supposed to meet up with another group of friends who decided at the last minute to see BAtman Begins instead. Personally, I think they got the raw end of the deal. Madagascar was brilliant. My only complaint is that I still have that stupid song going through my head (I like to move it, move it!) nearly 3 days later. Its almost as bad as the "So Long And Thanks For All The Fish!" song from H2G2. Anyhow, if you want a good no-brainer kind of fun movie, Madagascar is a good one to see.
Heading off to the Pub on Saturday for my monthly social outing. For those interested we will be at the Buckingham Arms hotel (Adelaidians should know where it is) around 6 for dinner, then on to a nice cafe somewhere for some form of caffinated beverage and sugared confectionary.
Mood - Slightly Pained
Music - Neils Heavy Concept Album
I am glad to see that I am not the only one who hears a song and then has it rattling arround inside the brain. Strangely it often seems to be the first or last song I hear on the clock radio in the morning. The worst would have to be when it is a song that you hate passionately then it becomes ARRRGGGHH. D-Day
