Well, I managed to finally get away for almost a whole week this time.
I left Adelaide on Wednesday night last week and got back on Tuesday night this week.
I'm still a little messed up from the flights and all the walking I did while I was there but it was well worth it.
Hmmm, let me see, what did I do in what order?
Well, thursday morning I wandered around a bit, looking at stuff, checking out shops and so forth. Had to buy a couple of pairs of jeans.
Friday my Fiance took a day off work (gotta love flex time) and wandered around the local shopping mall, (Hyperdome, I think it's called) and bought a few things.
Saturday we mooched around the civic (for some reason that's what they call the city center there) and I bought her christmas pressie We also checked out the film & sound archive (sadly, no Goodies stuff) which was quite enlightening. Don't bother with the CSIRO discovery center. It was as boring as dishwater. Frankly I expected much better.
Sunday was really cool, because we went to the zoo and got felt-up by a snake which was pretty cool.
Monday was purely vegging out at the unit we were staying at, and Tuesday I spent packing and getting out to the airport for my flight home.
It's a very cut-down summary, but if anyone asks I can provide more detail.
Hmmm, looks like this is my 99th post. Nearly the 100 mark. I wonder if I should stretch it out or something ....
Well, I'm glad you got to have a decent holiday! Hey, I made my way back on this site tonight...after rather a long break...and it won't let me post a journal entry! It keeps telling me there's been an error with the entry, or something like that...c'mon Mr Computer man...what's the problem?
