I have now been at my new job for a whole week. Well, almost a whole week, it's Friday morning.
So far my blood pressure has dropped, my stress levels have gone down, my enthusiasm is up and it's Friday so the weekend starts the second I get out of here this afternoon.
Once I get the preliminaries out of the way over the next couple of weeks, I'll see how much time I can spend on the site making the long promised updates.

Hi zaphod, I haven't been in touch for a while, (I do think of catching up with you guys, though!) but I'm so pleased to read that you've got a good job. And it's because someone wanted you, specifically: Well done! So glad to see it's going well so far, too, especially after the comment of a couple of journals ago.
Actually, I've been expecting this job for nearly a year now, and it's finally coming to fruition. The pay isn't fantastic by any stretch, but it's at least regular, unlike working for myself.
Nice to see you back again Janice, it's been too long.
