I'm loving reading all the comments on the shows in Australia. Lucky bastards. Not a hope in hell of me getting to see them out here. Even the DVD's aren't on US format. I'll have to wait till I get back to Blighty to visit my dear old Dad and commandeer his TV for a couple of days. I'm sure he'll love it. Hasn't seen me for 3 years. Oh well. Anyone know if the live shows are being recorded? Are they doing old sketches, new or both? Details please. Loved the comment about the Ecki-thump outfits lads. Almost brought a tear to my eye. If anyone knows where I can download any Goodies. Please let me know.
I moved to USA 4 years ago and am deprived of good comedy so have been looking for sites relating to stuff I loved when I was a kid. Found this one....hooray! and also a tribute to Kenny Everett site. I am now reliving my childhood in glorious silliness. When I was 12, my friends and I won a fancy dress competition dressed as The Goodies. I was Tim, I think. we had a home made trandem and everything. Considering we are all girls you can imagine how bad the competition was! There must be pics somewhere. Happy memories of laughing so hard at Radio Goodies, I fell off the sofa and hit my head on the coffee table.....Happy happy times. Looking forward to more silliness and catching up with people who actually get my sense of humour.
