Just a word of warning - be careful with your Goodies eps on YouTube. Some members have had their eps taken down by the site, I assume at the request of the BBC.

Hello All,
I'm hoping that someone can help me find a few mp3s of songs by The Goodies, they were of a single I had when I was a kid of "A Mans Best Friend is his Duck", and in particular the 2 songs on the B Side.. "Taking My Oyster for Walkies" and "Rastashanty"... most important one to me is Rastashanty, i used to love that as a kid... I've still got the 7" in my attic somewhere.. but I cannot find it for love nor money, and I cant find it anywhere on the internet. I am also looking for an MP3 for "Blowing Off" as well.. and have got hold of a Karaoke version but my vocal isnt as good as Graeme's! I Found my old vinyl copy of the New Goodies LP, but wont worry about converting it over as I see there is a compilation called "Yum Yum" which has most of that one on so will raid Amazon tonight!
If anyone can help me track down those songs, please email me at thepotatoprince@hotmail.com .. it would really help me bring back my childhood.. |
