Now here's an interesting thought... I've just been researching Tony Blackburn on the net, and would you believe, he started his career at a pirate radio station!

I was chatting to Bennythump the other day, and together we came up with the idea that the club should profile all the different people/places/events that the Goodies made fun of.

A lot of the Goodies was quite topical - jokes based on events & people at the time.  Unless you know who Rolf Harris is, how can you really appreciate all their Rolf Harris jokes?  Unless you've seen Grease & Saturday Night Fever, you don't know how funny "Saturday Night Grease" is.

We think that there should be a section on the website, and perhaps a monthly profile on the C&G, about someone they've made fun of.  Just imagine "This month we are featuring Tony Blackburn!"  The profiles should then be tied to particular references to that person in Goodies episodes.

This will obviously take some serious research effort though....
