There is already a very comprehensive episode guide available. I just need to put the links up for it. Or you can leave a message for bretta on here as it's his work.

I reckon that's a good idea but can be alot of work.
If you have ever read the book THE COMPLETE GOODIES , that contains quite a good synopis of every episode with behind the scenes info and great tidbits, and might be good starting point for layout of info.
I agree with you that there is definately a need a standard format/layout of information for every episode, and a consistent writing style, then you could allocate sections to people who would be good in those particular areas.
One could do screen shots, another source weird & wonderful obscure info for another section.
Would this be an online guide or one, with so much info, be on a CD as a kind of reference? Bill: "I used to have a pet rabbit once.......and at no stage did he ever strap me to the couch and stick carrots in my ears!" |

I think we absolutely should do an exhaustive episode guide.
I'm thinking something that will take each episode, do a proper synopsis, have some example dialogue, production notes or anecdotes that can be cribbed (or asked for nicely), and screengrabs.
It's a massive project, yes, but it would be fun - and the end result would be something to be proud of.
The first step is ascertaining what would go into each piece, so that everyone was working off the same premise (assuming that different people were assigned different episodes), then the next step would be to ascertain who has access to what.
I think this has real legs, and I'd be happy to help steer it. Listen to Radio Goodies... Bom |
