Hee hee - I don't know Sosia.  I have discovered that you have to add someone to your user list before you can send them a message but I have received messages before from people who weren't on my user list so I think it's just the sender who needs to add the user to their list.  If that makes sense - I seem to be rambling as per usual!

Hey guys,

You know how sometimes user messages go AWOL?

I think I've worked it out.  If you are sent a message by a user you have already added to your address-book thingy (ie you've clicked 'add user to my list') it will get through.  It's messages sent by people you haven't added to your list that seem to disappear into the ether.  Presumably, to have a PM conversation, each person needs to be in the others' list.

Is that any help at all?

(Resounding chorus of "No!")
