I could put it back Prunie, but the main reason for having it at all was the massive amount of time it used to take to load the forum page.  Now it's just as fast to use the main forum page, and have the added bonus in that it tells you what subforums have been updated since  you last read it.

I may put something in a sidebox for newest forum posts but that is further down the track.

Wow, great work Zaphod!  And I think an extra pat on the back for doing this at Christmas, I had the PC go mad last Chrimbo and who needs the extra stress of that?

But being a pain any chance of the "quick fix" forum menu back on the right hand side of the page, I actually prefer using it!

:a suggestion fot The Goodies to take up the veil???

I don't know how I should take that comment Jodes

Actually, it was a typo, it should have been munge, but it's close enough if you think that sentence was coherent

' It's going to take some serious munging to make work with the new site.  I'll have to ask that you indulge me for a while until I get it sorted out.

I'll indulge a man anything who uses the word 'mung' in a coherent sentence.

And is it just me, or did the text on the new site get a bit bigger?  I like - good for blind old bats like me.

Yes, I know I'm replying to myself.

The journal module was pretty badly munged to work with the old site and it's going to take some serious munging to make work with the new site.  I'll have to ask that you indulge me for a while until I get it sorted out.  IT may take a couple of days though.

Um, how do I create a journal entry in the new layout.

I know it's do-able, but can't find it...
