Tim has said in the past that he won't write his autobiography because for it to be a proper book it would have to include the "downs" in his life as well as the "ups" and that would hurt people. |

I can't think of any corpsing off the top of my head... I think it's probably because it was usually Tim doing all the ridiculous stuff - he barely got a chance to corpse!
I adore the Plain Clothes Police Women sketch in the 1948 Show. Just knowing that he had no idea what was going on makes it even funnier than it already was.

Ah, the whole expulsion mystery has puzzled me for some time, but the other week I finally find out the reason why. I wasn't even sure if it was a true story, but this is what the man himself had to say. Bondgirl got it spot on :
Not bad for a boy who started his education with an expulsion at the age of five from a school in his home county of Derbyshire. "I was one of only two boys in a school of girls and we caused havoc," he says. He had to be in the Brownies with them and was too rowdy in the meetings so was "asked to leave".
He chuckled thinking about it - "There aren't many men who can claim they were in the Brownies!" |
You can read the whole interview here:

I've been thinking lately, has Tim corpsed in the Goodies? Of course, there's plenty of times in the 1948 Show, but in the Goodies I can only recall one moment. It's at the beginning of Frankenfido when Tim and Bill get their new dog and Tim asks where its nose is. Otherwise, I'm stumped. Anyone noticed any other moments?

I've always wondered why our Tim was kicked out of school... It's on his Wiki page but doesn't say why. Perhaps some editing is in order.

A couple of days ago, on this thread, we were debating whether Grae still smokes, as it was known that he still did as of 5 years ago. Any more thoughts on that? I wrote down a number of reasons why I thought he might have stopped since then, but I don't really know, and would like to hear others' views. |

I'm quite good with grammar and spelling and would happily donate these skills (and any others I may have ) to the cause.

I gotta say it must be about time that Tim wrote another book - one about his life/career/adventures - I am one hell of a typist and eagerly volunteer my services I bet there would be some really really good stories between those covers Bill : I know when I'm licked cos it feels lovely ! |
