the "black thing" as you so eloquently put it Peej  was a "Vandal" (Atila the Hun style goon" who were visiting the Goodies Roman Holiday Village.  He took a shine to Tim and tried to make off with him.  Now I ask you - Does that dude show excellent taste in men or what!!    Hence Tim's look of utter horror.    Making out....sorry ...off with Tim - Who could help themselves - it is something I myself have often thought of.

Hehehe... no body does scared as well as Tim !!    It makes you just want to bring him home and...... well nothing else...(not that I can mention here anyway  )...... just bring him home

This place is far too quiet.

I was listening to the repeat of ISIHAC on BBC7 this evening (it had Tim doing Mr Boombastic - so I had to hear it), and after the show the announcer said that the other day she nearly ran Tim over in her car. Apparently he was just leaving a Tube station and stepping from the kerb, almost straight into the announcer's car. The announcer told Tim to look both ways next time!

Hehe...Wasn't that nice of him to mention us    ....Although it could have been really bad...He  could have  said something like " A lively website full of physico fans who are obsessed with my body, good looks, body, talent, mind and body"  but then he wouldn't be referring to us now would he cos we only want him for his body...good looks...errr ....talent Yes that's it Talent!!

It's good that there's no competition between the threads, just how it should be. It's all very sensible and, as Graeme said about his thread, just form an orderly queue! 

I came across this from The Times website. A bit late, but never mind:

Tim Brooke-Taylor, the writer and comedian, is best known for two shows: The Goodies, which ran for 72 episodes on BBC2 in the 70s, and the long- running Radio 4 programme, I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue. He still hopes that The Goodies, which has a lively web-site following of devoted fans, will be repeated by the BBC, but so far there has been no luck. As part of the campaign he and co-star Graeme Garden are taking a show, The Goodies Still Rule Forever, to the Edinburgh Fringe in August, and to the Brighton Comedy Festival in October. He is taking a break in Portugal for his birthday and goes to Verona later. Tim Brooke-Taylor is 66 today.

Also according to The Times, Tim shares his birthday with Wayne Sleep, who was in 'Football Crazy'. A bit of a barrel-scrape as far as Goodies connections go, but there you have it.
