Oi you - get your own Goody!!!!!

Thought it'd be a good opportunity whilst I'd finally managed to grab myself a computer to post on Grae's forum.

I know this is possibly sacrilege, but the truth of the matter is that up until the day before yesterday I'd never heard ANY ISIHAC!!!!!!!!

So I decided I'd best quickly remedy the situation and get myself some CDs quick sharp.  I stupidly nearly crashed the car due to laughing so hysterically!  Good god I can't wait.  It'll be the most amazingly fantastic wonderful incredible night EVER IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although I must say I wasn't entirely sure which way to look, what to do with myself (oo er!) or whether I would ever stop blushing and squealing when Graeme did his Meg Ryan Faking An Orgasm Bit on the Swannee Whistle on volume 9....

Good lord in heaven I love that man...!!

If anyone does happen to be in the vicinity of the Victoria Theatre in Halifax on the night in question and sees a wibbling hysterical extremely fat ugly wreck in false eyelashes (it'll be me) about to yell the word "WETSUIT!" at Dr G, please can you rush over and bop me on the head...

I may be very wrong, but I think that sounds like something they'd write themselves. If not, I think that reviewer will be kicking themselves now!

' I've been hearing a lot of Graeme's voice today, I heard four of his Just A Minute episodes from the late '70s and early '80s. They were very funny, certainly helped in getting me through my revision. Graeme challenged himself on many occasions, including one time when he challenged because  he was about to hesitate. Now that's how you play!

Oooh...I'll have to try and find those episodes. For Graeme's sake I'll even put up with Nicholas Parsons.

Did that critic know how wrong he/she would be in a few years time?!

I'm mainly here to share this quote which I just found, an excerpt of a Footlights review. Hope you find it as amusing as I did:

1965: My Girl Herbert (Germaine Greer, Eric Idle, Graeme Garden)
"...can be recommended only to the parents and friends of those taking part. Very fond parents, very close friends only. This will probably be the only occasion the cast can be seen on the professional stage."

I think Graeme's delicious voice has got smoother and smoother over the years. In some of the earlier episodes, it is a tiny bit sharper (though still so sexy and deep). But now it is just enough to melt you! But I also love it when he just needs to clear his throat a bit - so sexy!
