GROK launches YouTube channel

The latest service being offered by the fan club is a YouTube channel; it can be found at:

We've started off with a half dozen clips (including Linda Kay's amazing Goodies Can-Can video and other compilations) and will gradually add new items. If you check it out let us know what you think!

Very cool! A number of other people have uploaded Goodies and Goodies-related stuff on youtube (ISIRTA,The 1948 Show, etc.). One user (catastrophegooies) promises to upload all episodes on the site and has a number of them already there. The most recent is "The Return of the Goodies." I only wish someone would upload the uncut version of "Cunning Stunts" or "Fleet Street Goodies." The censored version is just not as good.		Posted by:the end

Problem is when people post complete episodes or large clips from episodes it's more cause for the BBC to ask for ALL Goodies clips to be taken down (which has already happened once before). It's a fine line to walk to post clips without blatantly violating copyright laws and we're trying to walk that line.		Posted by:El Kaye

As the official fan club, we SHOULD keep things on the up and up. Still, I hadn't seen ANY episodes in 30 years and it was the catalyst to actually purchase product (clips don't hang around forever). History: Do you remember when the BBC did that and what the circumstances were?		Posted by:the end

There was a discussion in the forums about a year ago about some people having their clips removed. One of the threads was in the Main Forum and entitled "YouTube". You can use the Search function in the Forums section to locate it.		Posted by:lisa
