Each recording starts at 7.30pm, with a 20-minute interval at around 8.50pm. The recording generally finishes between 10.15 and 10.30pm.
There will be great demand for these tickets so make sure you book early on the date your preferred venue comes on sale. We are limiting the number of tickets any applicant may purchase to 4. This is partly so ensure more people on our mailing list are able to get tickets, and partly because in the past, people have been re-selling their tickets at a profit on eBay, which is very unfair on other mailing list members unlucky enough to obtain tickets themselves. We have arranged that all the theatres will keep the details of the first 30 callers to miss out on tickets, so those with tickets who suddenly find they can't attend, will be able to re-sell them at the theatre's box office to a deserving member of the mailing list.
Finally, there's a chance to pick up FREE tickets to the very first series of a new panel game called "The Unbelievable Truth", devised by Graeme Garden and Jon Naismith, and featuring David Mitchell (of Channel 4's "Peep Show", and the "Mitchell & Webb" sketch shows on Radio 4 and BBC2) in the chair, and a panel that over the three recordings will include Jeremy Hardy, Sandi Toksvig, Clive Anderson, Alan Davies, Jo Brand, Graeme Garden, plus many other famous comedians and friends of "I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue".
The recordings will take place at the Shaw Theatre in London's Euston Road on the evenings of:
Monday 12th March Sunday 1st April Monday 23rd April
FREE tickets can be obtained by calling the BBC Ticket Unit on 0870 901 1227 or via their website at http://www.bbc.co.uk/whatson/tickets/comedy.shtml
The show describes itself as "the new panel game where four comedians tell lies and compete against each other to see how many unlikely truths they can smuggle past their opponents". The recordings each start at 7.30pm, with admission to the building at 6.15pm, and to the theatre from 7pm. The recordings should be over by 9.30pm at the latest. The Shaw Theatre is situated at 100-110 Euston Road, London NW1 2AJ - the nearest underground stations are Euston or King's Cross.
"The Unbelievable Truth" will be broadcast in the same slot as "I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue" and "Just A Minute" (Mondays at 1830, repeated Sundays at 1202) from the 23rd April.
With best wishes
