For the technical minded, I've run into a snag updating the database, specifically for the forums, and when you are talking about 20,000 or more records, it tends to be a slow process on this old server.  I've also since found out that there is a couple of corrupted entries in the forum, dating back about a month or so.  This has actually caused more headaches than I care to think about right now.  The whole upgrade was working well until I found that the forums wouldn't bypass the corrupted entries and just drop the rest of the forum posts.

Needless to say, this is completely unacceptable, and is the main reason for dropping back to the old site, at least until I can track down the source of the problems.
