Firstly, I'd like to apologise for the repeated promises (threats) I've been making to upgrade the site, fix the forums, make things pretty, etc, etc, etc, but I've been swamped with work lately so what I've done is finally given myself a deadline. This involves a couple of things. 1. I'll have to shut the site down for a couple of days because importing all the messages/forums/member details/etc is a very messy business and I can't do it while people are posting messages and so forth to the site. There will however still be front page advising people of what's going on and how it can be avoided. 2. This will be taking place sometime mid-late next week, ready to have the all new, all singing, all dancing GROK website up and happening before next weekend. (6th April 2002). 3. I've been preparing some ideas for a competition on ths ite, so I hope to be launching that at the same time. Cheers Tim
