About 25 UK GROK members met up in Bar Oz (yes, an Aussie theme bar!) in central Nottingham to watch some classic episodes and to meet TBT. We watched 4 episodes before Tim arrived for his interview - he was rather amused to walk into a pub and see himself splashed across a miriad of TV screens, dressed as John Travolta! The local paper had a short interview and photo shoot with him (I'm trying to get the pics) and then he came upstairs for the interview. One of our members is going to write an article about the interview, and it's far too long to do any sort of review here, but suffice to say, it was brilliant. We're going to try to encode some snippets and get them online to download in the future. Tim's time was short, as he had a matinee that day, but he was happy to hold a Q&A session, meet everyone, have photos and sign videos/records/books etc. and everyone who attended enjoyed it very much. We then went on to watch another 3 hours of episodes and rare clips, and eleven of us also went along to see Tim in Bedside Manners, which again, everyone enjoyed, and thus ended an excellent Goodies day.
