Bill in "Bad Nature", BBC Radio 4 next Saturday
more from same (Bill's Nature Shows)
Bill's Nature ShowsA news item that was posted in the forums by wackywales:

An upcoming radio show featuring Bill...

Bad Nature, Radio 4 Saturday (March 8th) 10.30am

"YOU'D think Sir David Attenborough would love all creatures, but actually he can't stand rats, after a nasty experience in India with a rat and an upset stomach. Bird-lover Bill Oddie shudders at the thought of cats and Julian Pettifer would like a world free of pigeons.

These are some of the contributors as Jo Brand delves into the darker side of wildlife's great and good, asking the celebrities of the natural world which animals they really have an aversion to.

Others joining in include Kate Humble, Steve Leonard, Michaela Strachan and Alan Titchmarsh.

Congratulations to the ISIHAC team
more from same (British Comedy)
British ComedyCongratulations to the ISIHAC team who won the Outstanding Contribution to Comedy Award at the Chortle awards last night.  A video of the event can be seen here - http://www.chortle.co.uk/news/2008/02/26/6456/watch_last_nights_chortle_awards - with Tim and Barry appearing about 3/4 of the way through.

WARNING - the video contains swearing

There is also an article which says the following about the team:

"The biggest cheer of the night was reserved for the veteran team behind I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue.

Barry Cryer said: ‘Thank you very much indeed on behalf of Tim, myself, the great [Humphrey] Lyttelton, Jez Hardy, everyone whose ever been on the show with us.’

And Tim Brooke-Taylor, who added that the award was ‘in memory of the Willie Rushton’ joked: ‘When we walked in today it felt like No Country For Old Men.’"

reminder: new series of "One" starts today (Thurs, Feb. 21) (+ other shows)
more from same (British Comedy)
British ComedyThe new series of "One", which is slated to include contributions from Graeme, begins today (Thurs, Feb. 21) on BBC Radio 4 at 23:00.  The show will be available from Listen Again after broadcast.

In the following list of upcoming shows (which you can see by using the "click here for more" link below) I've included "Bill Oddie's Wild Side" on Wednesdays.  However, I don't actually see it in the listings for the next two weeks.  Can someone in the UK please check the listings and see if they can find it?  I believe there should be two more episodes in the series.
