Bill will be appearing on "Would I Lie To You" |
more from same (The Goodies) |
According to an article at http://primetime.unrealitytv.co.uk/would-i-lie-to-you-to-return-for-series-5-this-summer/, Bill will be one of the guests in the new series of "Would I Lie to You" which will be airing this summer. The series will be recorded in March, so watch the BBC Tickets website for details about attending the recordings (and let us know if you spot the info!)
Here's a cut & paste of the article:
Would I Lie To You to return for series 5 this summer! March 9th, 2011 by Lisa McGarry
Host Rob Brydon and team captains David Mitchell and Lee Mack are to return for new series of Would I Lie To You? on BBC One later this year
Rob Brydon is back in the host's chair for the fifth series of the award winning comedy panel show Would I Lie To You? joined once again by razor-sharp team captains David Mitchell and Lee Mack.
The new series records in March to go out on BBC One later in the year.
Each week a stellar cast of celebrity guests join the trio to reveal amazing stories about themselves and to claim that incredible lies are actually true.
The aim of the game is to fool the opposition into mistaking fact for fiction and fiction for fact. To do so, panellists will need quick-wits and a poker face. Only those who can think on their feet will survive interrogation from the other team.
The critically acclaimed Would I Lie To You? is warm, good natured, and packed with witty banter and tall tales. The stories under scrutiny are always funny, frequently ridiculous, and unbelievably, very often the truth.
Celebrity guests featuring in this series include: Sir Terry Wogan, Chris Packham, Frank Skinner, Mackenzie Crook, Victoria Coren, Gregg Wallace, Nick Hewer, Greg Davies, Bill Oddie, Katherine Parkinson, Louie Spence, Bill Turnbull, Lorraine Kelly and Barry Cryer.
Other guest returning to the show include: Miranda Hart, Dara O'Briain, Charlie Brooker, Kevin Bridges, Rhod Gilbert and Robert Webb.

English comic actor, Tim Brooke-Taylor will be our guest on Sunday 5th June, when he will be interviewed about his experience and career in the spotlight, by former BBC TV presenter, reporter and journalist Chris Serle. Sunday 5th June 2011
Tim is undoubtedly a man of many talents, born in Derbyshire he studied Economics and Law at Cambridge University and became the President of 'Footlights', the revue club in which he wrote and performed with many legendary British comedians, including Bill Oddie, Graeme Carden, John Cleese, Graham Chapman, Eric Idle and Jonathan Lynn.
He toured extensively with the revue before making his move into television when Tim became a familiar face on shows such as 'On the Braden Beat', 'Me and My Girl' and of course 'The Goodies'.
He has achieved considerable success on stage, written several books, as well as contributing to 'The Little Book' of Mornington Crescent. Since its inaugural broadcast in 1972, Tim has been a regular panellist on that British classic show 'I'm Sorry I haven't a Clue'.
