Update about new Goodies DVDs

British Comedy8 Goodies episodes are scheduled to be released on DVD and VHS tape in the near future. The original release date was 24 March, but it appears this may be pushed back to mid-April to allow time to add some extra features. Currently it appears that the episodes to be included on the DVD/VHS sets will be: 1. Tower of London (aka Beefeaters), 2. Gender Education, 3. Kitten Kong, 4. The Goodies and the Beanstalk, 5. Kung Fu Kapers, 6. Lighthouse Keeping Loonies, 7. Earthanasia, and 8. Saturday Night Grease.

'I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue' back on BBC7

The GoodiesI'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue returns for just one week on UK BBC digital radio station BBC7 starting Saturday 22nd February at 12pm and 7pm and continues in that slot from Monday 24th to Friday 28th February. No Clue on Sunday this time round.

Seems looks like a convenient way of scheduling a 6 part series in one week, however Saturday's is from August 1981, Monday's and Tuesday's is from June 2000, Wednesday and Thursday's is from November 2000 and Friday's is from June 2001. Hopefully they will carry on digging back to the older episodes next time round.

The disc appears to be entitled 'The Goodies - At Last' and here is the information on the site.

"This 2 disc collection features 8 digitally restored episodes including the very first episodes, Kitten Kong, The Goodies and the Beanstalk, Ecky Thump, Saturday Night Grease and spans their 10 years at the BBC."

They have the duration time listed at 1 Hour and 17 minutes which must be a mistake.

Married With Children on UK Paramount Comedy Channel

The GoodiesBill's outing in the 3 part Married With Children story "The England Show" get's repeated on the Paramount Comedy Channel on Tuesday 11th February at 1.05am and 1pm, Wednesday 12th February at 1am and 1pm and Thursday 13th at 1am and 1pm. You can also catch Bill reading the Owl again on BBC Radio 7 Sunday 9th February at 3pm.

London recordings of "The Right Time" with Graeme

British ComedyTickets are currently available for recordings of the next series of "The Right Time", a BBC Radio 4 sketch comedy show whose cast includes Graeme Garden as well as Eleanor Bron, Neil Innes, Clive Swift, Roger Blake, Ronnie Golden and Paula Wilcox. The recordings will take place at The Drill Hall in London on 5 & 10 Feb plus 4, 11, & 18 March. ISIHAC repeats return to BBC7

British ComedyBBC7 will be playing old episodes of "I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue" daily at 12:00 and 19:00 for the next two weeks. While the shows in that timeslot seem to rotate every two weeks the station has been playing an episode of "I'm Sorry I'll Read That Again" every Friday at 12:30 and 19:30. You can listen to BBC7 or check their schedule at http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbc7/
