radio ads for Goodies Australian tour

The GoodiesI've heard that radio ads for the Goodies tour will be starting soon in the first five cities of the tour (Parramatta, Melbourne, Launceston, Hobart, and Geelong), with others to follow in the near future.  If you haven't yet purchased your tickets you might want to do so before they're in demand from people who have just learned about the shows.

new show with Bill; reminder about Graeme appearances this week

The Goodies* "Wild Autumn with Bill Oddie" (which we'd previous assumed would be titled "Autumnwatch") will be shown on Sunday, 30 Oct on BBC 2.  It will air from 17:30 to 18:10. 

* "The Bits in Between", a new four-part comedy series with Graeme in the cast, starts on BBC Radio 4 Tuesday, 25 October at 23:00.  This can be heard worldwide via the internet at www.bbc.co.uk/radio4

* "Casualty at Holby City" will be airing on BBC 1 on from Mon, 24 Oct through Thurs, 27 Oct at 19:00-19:30.  Graeme is listed as appearing in the Weds, 26 October episode (although it might be worth watching to see if he turns up in additional episodes).

* Bill will be hosting a short follow up to Springwatch entitled  "Wild Owl Farm" BBC2 Wednesday 26th October 2005 9.50pm-10pm.

The GoodiesWe've restocked the range of club t-shirts; all sizes are now available (just in time for the Goodies tour or your early Christmas shopping  )  Please note that several of the designs are also available as women's shirts. 

More detail is available by clicking the "Club T-Shirts" link in the menu on the upper-left-hand corner of the site (or you can use this link http://www.goodiesruleok.com/tshirts.php).  We're still in the process of updating the t-shirt page so please don't hesitate to write if you have any questions.

The club's shirts are different than the official tour merchandise being sold by Playbill; if you want to check out their selection as well you can use the link in the box on the right side of the page.  The Playbill site loads slowly so please be patient.

Bill and Graeme on the telly

The Goodiesthanks to David Piper-Balston for sending the following info to the goodies-l mailing list:

Graeme will be appearing in  "Casualty at Holby City" (which is when the two BBC medical dramas set in the same hospital crossover) on BBC1 Wednesday 26th October 2005 in the episode "Test Your Metal"

The show is broadcast Monday to Thursday 7pm-7.30pm so Graeme may well  appear in other episodes.  This is an unusual time slot and length for the show - maybe it's being converted into an all out soap opera?

Meanwhile Bill will be hosting a short follow up to Springwatch entitled "Wild Owl Farm" BBC2 Wednesday 26th October 2005 9.50pm-10pm.

updated news about Goodies documentary recording in London

The GoodiesTickets for the recording can be applied for by contacting enquiries@sroaudiences.com as well as visiting the http://www.sroaudiences.com/ website.  It's likely the listing for the Goodies tickets will be put on the site this evening.

Regarding the recording, I've been told that the show will be set in the Goodies office in 2005 (hmm, wonder what type of computer Graeme will have?).  The recording is supposed to start at 7:00pm and is anticipated to end around 10:30pm.
