Please note that we're in the process of upgrading the site.  Watch for updates from our webmaster, zaphod, about fixes to the small issues that cropped up during the upgrade.  Feel free to post comments, questions, or suggestions related to the upgrade in the "Suggestions" forum.

Basingstoke & Hull theaters add Goodies live show info to their websites
more from same (The Goodies)
The GoodiesBasingstoke has added a listing for "The Goodies Still Rule OK!" March 31st show to its website at http://www.theanvil.org.uk/.  There isn't a direct link to the show - to get to it select "what's on", from the pull down menu choose "Full Season", and then on the next page click "March 2007" in the "view month" menu at the left side of the page.  Tickets are supposed to be on sale now.

Hull has updated its site to now include the April 4th Goodies live show in its events diary at http://www.hullcc.gov.uk/portal/page?_pageid=221,155175&_dad=portal&_schema=PORTAL&p_id=1346&p_display_mode=Listing&p_option=DisplayEvent

I believe bookings are open for these shows as well as many of the other venues.  Use the "click here for more" link below to see the full schedule.  The red text indicates listings for the show at the individual theaters; chances are good tickets are on sale there.

Please note that the most current tour info always can be found in the FAQ at http://www.goodiesruleok.com/faq.php?topic=10

Tasty Tin update/alert
more from same (The Goodies)
The GoodiesI received my copy of The Tasty Tin from Ezydvd.com.au and was very surprised by the contents.

The tin itself is very nice - the colors are bright and some bits (like the text and the stars on the front) are raised.  But I expected the contents to be the same as "The Tasty Box", given the similar titles and identical cover art (the product description wasn't sufficiently detailed until a recent update to indicate otherwise).

The metal tin actually contains the two sets The Goodies: 8 Delicious Episodes and The Goodies: A Tasty Second Helping.  These are the same sets as those sold separately (in individual packages and individually shrink wrapped).

While these are excellent sets, they don't have some of the features (such as the color version of "Come Dancing") as The Tasty Box.  If you're looking for those extras, you should forgo this set and get The Tasty Box.

The URLs for these two sets at EzyDVD's site are:

  * The Tasty Tin: http://www.ezydvd.com.au/item.zml/789717

  * The Tasty Box: http://www.ezydvd.com.au/item.zml/781815

There's are detailed descriptions of The Tasty Box, 8 Delicious Episodes, and A Tasty Second Helping in the Video/DVD section of The Goodies Illustrated Guide (www.goodiesillustratedguide.com) as well as the non-illustrated version in the Articles section (http://www.goodiesruleok.com/articles.php?id=6&page=3)  (I haven't had a chance to add "The Tasty Tin" to the guide yet.)

Journals fixed, well sort of ....
more from same (Website)
WebsiteI've managed to fix the journals to a point where people can now add new entries and delete old ones, although why they would want to delete anything I have no idea.  The editing feature isn't working yet, but I should have that done either today or tomorrow.

UPDATE:
OK, so the journals aren't fixed very well.  There's a couple of problems with them, but the adding new entries works, just no mood/music entry yet. Will have another shot at it.
