ISIHAC to tour - at some point
more from same (British Comedy)
British ComedyRecently there were a few articles about the "I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue" cast (including Tim & Graeme) wanting to take the show on tour.  Here are a few representative examples: http://www.chortle.co.uk/news/2007/02/18/5026/clueless and http://www.mailonsunday.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_
id=436795&in_page_id=1770&in_a_source=
(thanks to Andrew Burford for
pointing out the Mail on Sunday piece).

A new article appeared on Chortle today (at http://www.chortle.co.uk/news/2007/02/21/5038/bbc_gives_them_a_clue) saying the following:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
BBC gives them a Clue
Radio show to tour after dispute settled
The team behind I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue will now go on tour - after the BBC relented about the use of the name.
Graeme Garden, Tim Brooke-Taylor, Barry Cryer and Humphrey Lyttelton had been told they couldn't perform the tour commercially because the corporation owned the rights.
However, after Cryer spoke out about his disappointment, the corporation has now struck a deal to allow the show on the road.
A Radio 4 spokesman said: 'We're pleased to confirm that the I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue team are able to go on tour under the banner of the Clue name.
'We have been talking about how to make this happen for some time and are delighted at the positive result.'
Cryer had accused the corporation of being 'bloody stingy' about the proposed tour.
The few radio recordings each year are an instant sell-out - and the team can now expect to sell thousands of tickets to live shows.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Obviously it is *much* too soon for there to be any specific dates. However, I'm sure the club will be sent the information when a tour is booked.

upcoming Goodies interviews
more from same (The Goodies)
The GoodiesI am hoping to get advance info about interviews Tim & Graeme will be doing for the upcoming tour.  However, sometimes these are scheduled (or rescheduled) at very short notice.  If you learn about an interview or other promotion please let us know!

There may be an interview on BBC Radio 4's "Midweek" this coming Wednesday, February 21st.  I don't have any further details at this point but watch the show's website (http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/factual/midweek.shtml) for updates.

Also, thanks to Wackywales for spotting a Feb 27th Goodies interview on "This Morning" on ITV 1 at 10:30.

C&G newsletters in a different spot!
more from same (The Goodies)
The GoodiesI'm having some difficulties with uploading the Clarion & Globe newsletters to their rightful section of the website, so I've created a (hopefully) temporary new home for them in the "Articles" section.  The January & February C&Gs can be accessed either by selecting "Articles" from the left menu of this page and scrolling to the end of the section or from the "Latest Articles" box at the bottom of this page.  All other C&Gs up to December 2006 can still be accessed from the "Clarion & Globe" section of the site.

additional info about new ISIRTA CDs
more from same (British Comedy)
British ComedyThe nice folks at BBC Audiobooks have provided the following info about the "I'm Sorry I'll Read That Again" CDs which are scheduled to be released next Monday, 5 February:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Starring John Cleese, Tim Brooke-Taylor, Graeme Garden, David Hatch, Jo Kendall and Bill Oddie, I’m Sorry I’ll Read That Again is a mix of quickfire sketches, bad puns, humorous songs, and TV & cinema parodies. The series, which ran from 1964 to 1973, quickly developed a cult following and was the forerunner of The Goodies and I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue.
Volumes 1 – 4
8 CDs  Duration: 8 hours  ISBN: 9781405677035
Available for the first time on CD, fifteen episodes of the classic radio comedy sketch series. Originally released on cassette, the episodes are now presented in chronological order. They include the special 25th anniversary double episode from 1989.
Volume 5
2 CDs  Duration: 2 hours  ISBN: 9781405676854
Also available to download  ISBN: 9781405679183
Due to popular demand, and after a long break, a fifth volume of episodes from the irreverent radio comedy series which ran between 1964 and 1973.
I’m Sorry I’ll Read That Again will be available from all good bookshops, online at www.bbcshop.com or by BBC Audiobooks direct mail on 0800 136 919
This title is also available to purchase as a download from digital retailers such as Audible, Audioville, iTunes, Mediabay, 7 Digital, Simply Audiobooks, Spoken Network, TuneTribe, Plays on the Net and Wippit.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

As mentioned in the forums and other news items, other online vendors (including Amazon.co.uk and Play.com) are also selling the CDs.  Australian ISIRTA fans can check with their local ABC Shops to see if they'll be stocking (or can order in) this title.

A listing of the selections on the various CDs can be found in the "click here for more" box.
