Graeme in Jeremy Hardy repeat / Humph hosts Radio 4 show |
more from same (British Comedy) |
* Graeme will appear in BBC 7's repeat of "When Jeremy Hardy Spoke to the Nation" next Tuesday, December 18th, at 23:00.
* For the Clue fans - Humph will be hosting a two part series called "When Hollywood Went to War"; the first part airs tomorrow (Thurs, Dec 13th) at 11.30am. Here's a description from http://entertainment.timesonline.co.uk/tol/arts_and_entertainment/tv_and_rad io/article3040350.ece:
When Hollywood Went to War, Radio 4, 11.30am
"Humphrey Lyttelton, who first came to global attention in a war context, playing the trumpet at the gates of Buckingham Palace on VE Day, begins a two-part series about the Hollywood stars who took a break from their pampered lifestyle to do their bit from 1939 to 1945 (or, more to the point, 1941-45). What's surprising is how A-list many of them were - Jimmy Stewart (who stayed in the Air Force Reserve long after the war and even flew over Vietnam as an observer in a Superfortress), Clark Gable, Douglas Fairbanks Jr, Henry Fonda. It's a bit like Tom Cruise volunteering to be a Top Gun for real."
