I've been checking out the veoh site but haven't tried downloading yet.  I've having trouble with the AVS converter.  When I did a test conversion, the audio track was way off.  Anyone else have that problem, or know a workaround?

'  Episodes can also often can be found on torrent sites.  Not that I would ever do anything as naughty as downloading torrents

but anyone who is that naughty may want to check out a site that begins with iso and ends with .com. and has a hunt in the middle.
Someone is in the process of sharing epsiodes that are fantastic looking----nothing like the copies of copies of copies of copies of nasty old vhs recordings that most of us are used to.
The person warns he/she has a very slow connection, so be patient.
(it looks like this person may also  have posted some episodes  available on the dvd sets---I really shouldn't have to add "ignore those" but I still will....)

i went to the website you suggested KCjones and i didn't think it was that good, well compared to the website i use, all i could find was series 7 which i already have exept for one episode, the commonwealth gams episode, which i already have, and series 9 which will be coming out on dvd in 9 days to be persice

Oh yes, you've got to love Tim comically being attacked by sheep.

I recently noticed a useless piece of trivia.  Roy Kinnear is the guest star in both episodes in which Tim is attacked by sheep ("Rome Antics" and "The Lost Tribe").

Ooo, I love that bit with the sheep in the coliseum. I nearly fell off my chair laughing at that the first time I saw it.

Welcome

Can't remember if I said "Hello and welcome to the forums" yet, Tegina (so just in case...  )

Greetings from another fan in the US.

Why thank you.

What an absolutely lovely acronym, GROK.  Wonderful to be here.

First saw the Goodies in the late 70's when it was first shown here on PBS (public television) along with Dr. Who and Monty Python.  Two things stuck in my mind, sheep in the Roman coliseum and the song which I now know is "Stuff that Gibbon."

I am wonderfully grateful to this website for validating my memories and to the generous forum members who have been so helpful.

Thanks!
