The lost password link resets the password to a random one, becasue the site doesn't keep the passwords as cleartext, and only the encrypted version, so it can't send you your old password.
Never settle with words when a flamethrower! is much more fun

I was just wondering if this is meant to happen.... Quite a while ago, I felt my password was too obvious, so I decided to go to 'My Account' and type in a different name in the password menu. This seemed to go well until I signed out and tried to sign in again with my new password. It wouldn't work, so I got my password sent to me via email. It turns out the password has warped into an unusual series of jumbled letters and numbers - not what I changed it to!
Would anyone please tell me if I've done something wrong? (that's probably it) Or if there's something wrong with the website? Thanks.
