It still seems to me as if the avatar uploader is a bit buggy. I think I finally succeded, but PNG images does not seem to work, only GIF. And, again, 100x100.
May I suggest that the avatar uploading text informs of the size demand? |

Maybe you could be a bit more specific. I assume you mean that you uploaded an image for your avatar, and it isn't working? The Avatars on this site don't actually load from external sources, which means you have to actually upload the image using the form on the "My Settings" page.
Also, please note that the image must be exactly 100 pixels by 100 pixels or it will be rejected by the system.
