Anyone in America trying to get the beeb to bring out the goodies on dvd. They dont like the Goodies, they wont repeat the episodes in the uk, They didnt bring out the dvd over here. It was Network. A british company that releases a lot of cult tv tapes & dvds. So perhaps they need to do a deel with someone in the states?

I stopped by the bbc.com and sent them a question about a Goodies dvd box set and here is their answer to me:

It is interesting to note that they say it is not planned for release in the US and Canada.  Doesn't say anything about the rest of the world.

Does anyone know of any plans for episodes of the Goodies to go on DVD? Since the X Files has begun putting entire seasons into boxed sets, it got me hoping it could happen elsewhere.

According to TBT himself, in our recent interview with him in Nottingham, someone did try to buy the DVD rights a while back, but for some reason, the BBC are hanging on to them and won't release them, even though they won't repeat the shows in the first place.

What we need is for a club member to win the lottery and make the Beeb an offer they can't refuse!  Wouldn't it be great though, to have them all on DVD, with the lads doing commentary over it?
